We recently welcomed to the school Mr Javier Mendez and Ms Raquel Lerma Arcas, teachers from Spain who had the following to say about their week at Bishop Luffa.
“We would like to thank all the staff members of Bishop Luffa School for the warm welcome you have given us and for the opportunity of sharing with you Luffa school life. It has been a great experience to observe from the inside how British schools work.
“Coming back to Spain is not now going to be the same. What we have learned and experienced will surely make us think of improving teaching strategies to apply in our lessons. Being at Luffa has been like being at home. Thanks again.”
The visit was organised by Simon James from the University of Chichester who thanked the school for their support. “This is to thank you for all that you did in setting up the programmes for Javier and Raquel. Needless to say, they were most impressed with the school and found all staff and students to be extremely friendly, cooperative and helpful. Thank you to all the staff (particularly in Technology and RE) who helped to make their short time with you such an enjoyable and rewarding experience.”
